Some of the places I’ve visited
We visited St Andrews in February 2022 and played 3 courses, Balgove, Eden and Strathtyrum Courses. Can’t wait to go back there and maybe play the old course
One of my all time favourite courses and very hard to play. Weather wasn’t kind to me on both occasions but thats links golf, wouldn’t change it for the world.
Special surprise was the 150th Open at St Andrews where i got to see 2 of my heros play golf. TIger Woods and Rory Mcilroy
Murcar Golf course is something special, i can’t wait to visit there again if you enjoy links golf it is well worth the travel.
Wow just Wow, I got to watch loads of golf and we got invited to the driving range by Callaway to hit some balls beside the pros, thanks to Andrew at PGH, awesome course maybe i will be lucky enough to play there one day.
I got to caddy for my Dad at Goswick, what a course again another links championship course, need to hit the ball long and straight to score well, looking forward to playing there soon.
Dumfries & Galloway has loads of “Hidden Gems “ of golf courses, you don’t need to travel far to find your next challenge. Looking forward to playing more next year with my dad.
